At Finlay Medical & Aesthetic Clinic, we respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
1.Who we are and what this policy covers
This website is operated by Finlay Medical & Aesthetic Clinic, located at 13801 Bruce B Downs Blvd, Ste 102/103, Tampa, FL 33613. This policy applies only to this website.
This policy does not replace our Notice of Privacy Practices. The health information you share with us as a patient (your medical history, treatments, and medical record) is protected by the federal HIPAA law and Florida law, and it is governed by the Notice of Privacy Practices we give you at the clinic. You can ask for a copy at any time.
2.Information we collect
Information you give us directly. This website does not have a contact form. We receive personal information only when you choose to:
- Call us: your phone number and anything you tell us on the call.
- Book online: the information you enter in our online booking portal (see Section 5).
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, our analytics providers may record:
- Your approximate IP address, browser type, device, and operating system.
- The pages and sections you view, how long you stay, and the page you came from.
- Your clicks on contact buttons (call, book) and on frequently asked questions.
- Ad campaign source data, such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs (for example, gclid).
We do not ask for credit card numbers, bank details, or medical information through this website.
3.Cookies and similar technologies
We use the following tools to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising:
- Google Tag Manager: manages the measurement tags on this site. Through it, we may use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which can place cookies in your browser to measure visits and conversions.
- Vercel Analytics: measures site traffic and performance in aggregate.
- Browser session storage: we temporarily save the parameters of the campaign that brought you to the site so we can credit it correctly when you book. It is deleted when you close the tab.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, the site will keep working, but we won’t be able to measure your visit.
4.How we use information
- To answer your calls and messages and to schedule your consultation or appointment.
- To understand which parts of the site work, and to improve its content and speed.
- To measure how our ads perform, including our Google ads.
- To protect the site from misuse and to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information.
5.Who we share it with
We share information only with providers that help us run the site and the clinic:
- Aesthetic Record: the platform behind our online booking portal. When you book, this provider receives and processes your information under its own terms.
- Google: analytics and advertising (Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads). We also display the public reviews from our Google profile. To get them, the site’s server contacts Google without sending any of your information.
- Vercel: website hosting and traffic analytics.
We may also disclose information if a law, a court order, or a government authority requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our patients and the clinic.
6.Please don’t send medical information through unsecured channels
Phone calls and email aren’t designed for exchanging detailed clinical information. To book, your name and phone number are enough. We’ll go over your medical history, allergies, and medications with you in person at your consultation.
7.Your choices
- Cookies: block or delete them in your browser settings.
- Google Analytics: install the opt-out browser add-on.
- Google ads: manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.
- Access, correction, or deletion: you can ask us to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you as a result of your use of this website. Information in your medical record is kept and handled under HIPAA and Florida law, so it may not be eligible for deletion.
8.How long we keep information
Campaign parameters in your browser are deleted when you close the tab. Analytics data is kept according to each provider’s settings. Calls and messages are kept for as long as we need them to take care of you and to comply with the law.
9.Security
This site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we work with reputable providers. Still, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security.
10.Children
Our services and this website are intended for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe we have, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11.Third-party sites
This site links to outside services (such as the booking portal or Google). We don’t control their privacy practices, so we encourage you to read their policies.
12.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the current version.
